About MVT Canadian Bus, Inc.
MVT Canadian Bus began operations in Canada in January 2009 as the contract provider to TransLink for the HandyDART service in the Metro Vancouver area of British Columbia. We are continuing our expansion across Canada with our second Canadian contract beginning January 1, 2012 as the paratransit service provider for the City of St. John’s, Newfoundland and our third Canadian contract beginning July 1, 2015 as the conventional and specialized transit provider for the City of Barrie, Ontario.
MVT provides door-to-door transit service to those unable to use public transit without assistance. This is an essential service to customers who rely on paratransit. For many seniors and persons with cognitive or physical disabilities, our service is their only means of transportation.
MVT Canadian Bus Inc. is a subsidiary of MV Transportation Inc., the largest provider of specialized transportation services for seniors and persons with disabilities in the United States. To learn more about our parent company MV Transportation Inc., please visit www.mvtransit.com
